Heather Blanco

Heather Blanco is Of Counsel at Teigland-Hunt LLP, having joined the firm in 2022. Heather’s practice focuses on sales and traded products, and she has extensive experience in the regulation and documentation of cleared and uncleared financial products from both a buyside and sellside perspective.

Prior to joining Teigland-Hunt, Heather spent six years working as Senior Counsel to one of the world’s most prominent hedge funds, four years working as Director and Counsel to UBS Investment Bank and four years working as an associate at Latham & Watkins. Her areas of expertise at these institutions included benchmark rate retirements, uncleared margin considerations, netting and enforcement issues, documentation and clearing.

Heather holds a BA from Dartmouth College, an MS from Fordham University and JD from the Law School at the University of Chicago.
